Road Trip Season: 20 Questions to Get Them Talking

Summer means miles on the road — to the lake, to grandma's, to the trailhead, or just the long haul home. And some of the best conversations happen when nobody's looking directly at anyone else. There's something about the hum of the road and the passing scenery that makes it easier for kids to open up.

At Valkyrie, we believe that the time we spend really knowing each other is never wasted. So before your next drive, save this list. Amanda pulled together 20 questions to spark the kind of talks you'll remember long after the trip is over. No agenda, no right answers — just a way to trade the quiet (or the "are we there yet?") for something a little deeper.

Here are 20 car ride questions to get the conversation started:

1. What are some jobs you think would be fun when you are older?

2. What is something you like about your brother/sister?

3. What are two things we do really well as a family?

4. What is something you see another family doing that you would like us to do?
