Beth’s Corner: We're Never Really Done

Have you noticed how when you fix one thing, there’s always something else that needs attention?

I’ve been moving and downsizing.
As my washer and dryer were being moved out and replaced with something smaller, it suddenly occurred to me…

Every time I seem to finish one project, another one appears.
One box gets unpacked.
Another needs organizing.
One room comes together.
Another needs attention.

And isn’t that a lot like life?

We finally solve one problem, reach one goal, heal one hurt, or check something off the list… and then something else shows up asking for our time and energy.

Maybe the goal was never to get everything finished.
Maybe the goal was to keep growing, keep learning, keep adapting, and still find joy in the middle of the mess.

Because the truth is, we are never really “done.”
There’s always another project, another lesson, another opportunity, another adventure.

And maybe that’s exactly what keeps life interesting.
The mission isn’t to finish everything.
The mission is to keep living.
