Road Trip Season: 20 Questions to Get Them Talking
It's road trip season — which means hours of buckled-in, side-by-side time that's perfect for the conversations that matter most. Amanda put together 20 simple questions to turn car rides into connection. Print them, screenshot them, or just start with number one.
Beth’s Corner: We're Never Really Done
Moving and downsizing taught Beth something unexpected: every time we finish one project, another shows up. Maybe the goal was never to get everything done — maybe it's to keep growing, keep adapting, and find joy in the middle of the mess. This picture is actual work being done at the ranch. This is from when we were drilling for water. There were several projects going on simultaneously and when this wrapped, there was more to be done. Even at Valkyrie, the work is never done.
Introducing Amanda Answers - Summer Break Edition
Ask Amanda is here. In her new series, our coach Amanda takes on the real questions parents bring her — about school, behavior, milestones, transitions, and everything in between. Drawing on thirty years of working with families, she offers steady, practical answers for the service members and families navigating it all together. First up: making summer break work for kids who need a little more structure.
Beth’s Corner: What Is Your Body Trying to Tell You?
What if your body is trying to tell you something? In this Beth's Corner, Beth explores the quiet conversation between body and mind — and offers a set of reflective questions to help you listen. The goal isn't perfection. The mission is understanding. The mission is you.
