The Lights Are On at Valkyrie Ranch

Just a few months ago, Valkyrie Ranch was remote, quiet, and completely off the grid. At night, the stars were the only source of light—and while beautiful, they were also a reminder of how far we had to go.

Now, for the first time ever, the lights are on.

Thanks to the support of our incredible donor community, we were able to pull power all the way from the edge of the property up to the cabin. After months of groundwork—literally—the switch was flipped, and the place was illuminated.

It’s more than just electricity. Light means safety. Light means progress. Light means we’re one step closer to welcoming SOF veterans to a space designed for rest, healing, and connection.

This milestone belongs to all of you who have walked with us, given generously, and believed in the mission.

Next up: water. With the next phase of donor-funded work, we’ll begin digging to see what’s possible underground. Our hope is to have running water at Valkyrie by spring.

Until then, we’re soaking in the glow. Thank you for lighting the way.
